The raised headrest is what sold me — my terrier rests his chin on it and stays put for hours instead of sliding off like he did on his old flat bed. The bouclé cover unzips and goes straight in the wash, which matters with a dog who drools.
My old boy used to wake up stiff every morning, but since switching to this memory foam base he actually sleeps through the night and doesn't struggle getting up anymore. The bouclé cover has survived two washes already and still looks brand new, which is more than I can say for his last bed.
I was skeptical about the bouclé texture, but it’s actually really soft and my dog claimed it within minutes. The cover comes off easily and washed well, too.
