Washed the cover after my dog drooled all over it and it came out looking brand new — no shrinking, no pilling. The fill stays soft and breathable, so my golden retriever actually sleeps through the night on it now.
The cotton cover actually feels cool against my face, which I didn't expect from a pillow at this price. Threw it in the wash after a week and it came out just as soft, no bunching in the fill at all.
I've been waking up without that sweaty neck feeling—the breathable cotton cover really makes a difference. The soft fill is just firm enough for side sleeping, and it washed perfectly without losing shape.
