I was skeptical about the whole cooling fabric thing, but my terrier actually stopped flipping to the cold side of the bed. The Outlast material feels cool to the touch even after she's been curled up on it for hours.
My dog used to pant all night, but since switching to this round cover with Outlast technology, she sleeps through without waking up hot. The stone grey fabric blends in nicely with my living room decor.
