The bouclé texture is thicker and softer than the old cover, and the speckled blue hides muddy paw prints way better. Washed it on warm after a rainy week and it came out looking new, no shrinking or pilling.
The zip-off cover is a lifesaver with two muddy dogs — I just unzip it and toss it in the wash, and it comes out looking brand new. The speckled blue hides dirt way better than I expected, and the woven texture still feels thick after several washes.
The bouclé texture is pleasantly warm and the speckle blue looks lovely in our living room. Fits the bed well and washes clean easily, though the zipper takes a bit of effort to close.
