The memory foam actually seems to help my arthritic beagle get up in the mornings without that stiff wobble. The bouclé cover is soft but has held up fine to her digging at it before bed.
My senior lab used to shift around all night on her old flat bed, but the memory foam on this one has her sleeping straight through. The bouclé cover is soft and hasn't pilled at all after a month of daily use.
The memory foam really cradles my dog's hips, and the bouclé texture is softer than it looks. He's been sleeping through the night without shifting around.
