The faux fur cover is ridiculously plush and my dog basically melting into it the second I set it down was all the proof I needed. I also love that the cover unzips for washing, because with a dog that sheds, that's a dealbreaker for me.
My senior dog used to struggle getting up from his old flat bed, but the orthopaedic base on this one gives him just enough support to push himself up without help. The pearl faux fur also hides the shedding surprisingly well between washes. Genuinely relieved I switched him over.
Our senior dog has been sleeping through the night since this arrived—the orthopaedic base is firm yet gently giving, and she sinks right into the faux fur like it's a cloud. The cover zips off easily for washing, which I've already needed once. It's genuinely the coziest spot in the living room now
