My old dog has arthritis and was struggling on the hardwood, but this bouclé bed actually stays put on the couch and he sinks right into it. The orthopaedic support is firm enough that he doesn't wobble when he stands up, which I didn't expect from something this soft.
Tossed this in the backseat for road trips and my shepherd actually lies down now instead of pacing. The bouclé cover is soft but seems to hold up to her nails, and the orthopaedic foam is firm enough that she doesn't sink through it.
My older lab has been sleeping more soundly since we put this mattress in her crate. The orthopaedic foam is firm enough to support her hips but still comfortable.
